Feel free to reserve a boat if you'd like but reservations aren't always necessary...But sometimes they are...If you're even thinking about coming just let us know and we'll try and hold a boat for you if we can or tell you that you'll need a reservation.

We don't think you need to go through the credit card thing to hold a boat but please understand we may have to ask for one at times...

And please...if we extend you the courtesy of reserving you a boat and your circumstances change please let us know. We not only think that's reasonable but courteous to not only us but to others who may want a boat....

We sure like that email thing...It not only serves as a record of your needs but gives us a quick way to contact you before you leave the house if the river is tryin to flood or the weather don't look too good....We think its better that you don't have to drive all the way over here to find that out on your own. If things change on the river overnight you'll find out in your mailbox when you wake up and not when you cross the county line....

And if you're planning on arriving late the night before your float and are worried about finding a campsite in the dark we put in three sites at the business for your convenience....They won't cost you a thing and you'll either find a fire going for you or a lantern lit in a tree....

Sometimes we'll get a call asking if reservations are necessary...We'll say that they're not...But please.....don't just show up without letting us hear from you that you're coming....and when. That way we can save you a boat and maybe some disappointment....

We know some of you travel considerable distance to get here....If you're making the trip and are going to be arriving past our latest suggested launch time....usually 12:30 PM please let us know. Most trips are around 8 miles and it takes some time if you want to enjoy the river....We'll be happy to try and make special arrangements when we can if we know you'll be late...
